Maybe Baby by Benefit
I admit, I don't usually wear fragrance. My husband has allergies and if I wear too many "smelly" things, a full blown sneezing attack goes into effect and everyone knows who is to blame (considering I am the only girl in the house).
I couldn't help wanting to try Benefit's fragrance Maybe Baby. So when my sample arrived, I quickly hid in the bathroom to try it out.
This oh so pretty fragrance has Top notes of apricot and white ginger; Middle notes of water blossoms, lychee, bergamont and Base notes of white musk and warm peach. It is very light and very pretty. I bravely wore it around my husband without any fingers pointing me back to the bathroom to wash it off.
Maybe Baby is available in eau de toilette in both 1.7oz and 3.4oz. A pressed powder is also available, as well as, a body lotion and gift set.
Where to get it: www.benefitcosmetics.com

Makeup Minute
It's great when you have people who believe in you. A few months ago, Christina of ebeautydaily.com asked me if I would be interested in writing a blog for b5media. I almost fell over.
First of all, it was one of the owners of b5, Darren Rowse, who was my very first blog ever read. His blog is what made me start my blogging career. Now here I stand (or sit) one year later, the newest blogger in his Beauty and Style Channel. I'm honestly overwhelmed.
So I give you my newest blog, soley about makeup and makeup tools....Makeup Minute.
Enjoy!

Spa Black Book
Remember Doryn's Dish? And how it sadly was accidently deleted and no more? Well the very fabulous Doryn has made a comeback with a new and very wonderful Spa blog called "Spa Black Book."
Spa Black Book details her trips to various spa's and gives the lowdown on various Spa Treatments. Doryn also answers readers questions and occassionally posts about beauty and spa news.
My favorite post has to be the one titled, "Honey, Twigs and New Friends" (found in the archives). Once you read the post and get to the comments section, you will see why.
Most of you know from my previous boast about Doryn's Dish, that I really think highly of Doryn. I've been lucky to get to know her through different networks we are both a part of, most recently The Beauty Blog Network. You never can say enough good things about a great person. Go check out her blog, I'm sure you'll feel the same way too!

Body Spray
I love a good body spray. Not only because of the fragrance being lighter (and more tolerant for my husband's allergies) than perfume, but also because of it's moisturizing properties. There are days when I just don't have the time to slap on the lotion, and a few quick sprays does the trick. Sometimes, as a mom, you just need to have a "short cut" day.
Jordan Essentials has several Body Sprays that are moisturizing:
Moxie Line & Life Song Aromatherapy Line.
These lines contain glycerin and essential oils. The fragrance and color come soley from the oils of the essential oils used.
Sassy Body Spray; Moxie Line 7oz. $12.50
The fragrance: M Power Mint with Ginger infused with Citrus.
I have to say this is a very versatile scent. One minute it smells of peppermint, on other days I smell an earthy Ginger and at other times I smell a lemony fragrance. It is all dependent on your body chemistry. When this line and fragrance first came out, I turned my nose up at the thought of this combination. I wasn't sure that it was going to smell so good. My mind completely changed when I went to the Moxie Tour in Maryland and got to try everything first hand. This entire line has taken up residence in my bathroom.
Relax & Refresh; Life Song Aromatherapy Line 7oz $12.50
The fragrance: Relax is Lavender, Balsam and Ylang ylang.
Refresh is Orange, lemon and lime.
My favorite in this group is the Refresh; it is very invigorating, especially when you really need to wake your body up in the morning. My die hard Lavender customers love the earthy woodsy smell of the Relax fragrance.
Original Body & Linen Spritzer line
9oz. $10.50
This line is the most versatile in terms of scents and is glycerin based. This line also can be dually used on your body and also to spray on upholstry, curtains, towels or in your car for the little spritz of scent. The scents in this line are: Pearberry, CSpa, Vine Ripened Honeysuckle, Sugar Sweet Pea, Oatmeal Milk & Honey, Lavender & Eucalyptus, Grapefruit & Lime, Kiwi Cooler, Peach Mango, Costal Blue and Mountain Fresh.

Polished, moisturized skin begins here
Looking for healthy, good for your skin products all in one kit? Jordan Essentials offers two different gift sets to suit your needs.
Fantastic 5: This is a multi-purpose bath and body gift set. It contains a 9oz. Shower Gel, Soap Saver, 20oz. Salt Scrub, 4oz. Shea Butter, Lotion Bar and Bath Scrunchie in a wire bathtub basket. This is the set I most often use at my Spa Shows for when demonstrating our Hand Spa's and Foot Spa's.
To polish those rough, dry cracked hands, simply add one quarter shower gel to your soap saver and three quarters water. This will create a rich, silky foam that you pump out to wash your hands. Next use a dollop of salt scrub and work it into your hands, exfoliating all of the dry dead skin. Once you've rinsed that off and dried your hands, apply a pea sized amount of Shea Butter and then seal it in with the Lotion Bar. You also repeat this same process for your feet, leaving both your hands and feet silky smooth.
Naturally, the shower gel, bath scrunchie and salt scrub can be used in your bath or shower, the shea butter can be used all over your body and the lotion bar on your elbows and knees. This set is $66.50.
Looking for something a little less expensive?
The Salt, Butter and Wax set offers the Salt Scrub, Spa Glove, Shea Butter and Lotion Bar in a wire tub basket for only $49.50.
Either way, you are sure to have soft, healthy, touchable skin.

Chocolate Mint Massage Bar
My favorite ice cream is Mint Chocolate Chip; favorite brand is Breyers. So it is no surprise to anyone who knows me that I fell in love with Jordan Essentials's Chocolate Mint Massage Bar.
This Massage Bar is similar to our other Lotion Bars, in that it is a solid bar of lotion and contains beeswax, essential oils and Vitamin E. What makes this Lotion Bar different, is that it is body heat activated and also contains Cocoa Butter. Your body heat is what transforms this solid bar of lotion into softening up enough to gently massage across your skin.
This bar is very popular among my customers who are pregnant and those who have a friend or family member that are pregnant due to the fantastic properties of Cocoa Butter on their pregnant bellies. It's also very popular among chocolate lovers.
Looks like I will be ordering more of these for myself, as I recently found out I am pregnant again. I couldn't be happier.

Radio Interview
Lemming Central Radio recently interviewed me about my Jordan Essentials business. Come take a listen: LC radio I sound a little lispy and Drew Barrymore-ish. However that is not really what my voice sounds like in real life. Certainly feel free to listen to my podcasts in the sidebar to hear what my voice really sounds like.
Many thanks to Janine, the owner of LC, for helping to give me and my business more exposure!

Spa Worthy Advertisers
Many thanks to my advertisers! Please be sure to check them out!
Urban Apothecary: They are offering a fantastic special to A Girl's Gotta Spa readers! Make a purchase of $25 or more and get a Pro Pigment for free; a $16 value. I plan to purchase their Supernatural Mineral Powder , since it is a powder, concealer and foundation with an SPF of 8. I'm choosing Czarina as my free Pro Pigment because it is a gorgeous blend of pinks and purples that will be perfect for my hazel eyes.
Shopping with Moms: This great site is a collaboration of various online stores run by mothers who work from home. You can search by category or simply scroll through and visit each shop. Why not support a work at home mom? I am all for that!
Thanks to both advertisers for supporting this work at home mom!

Interested in advertising on this blog? I offer a Top Sponsor ad spot seen at the top right hand side of the page, standard, mini and classified ad spots for BlogAds in the right sidebar and AdBrite text ads.
