Stine Goya is back with a new collection for Weekday. Goya’s last collaboration with Weekday was highly
appreciated by everyone and we are pleased to announce our second collaboration with the acclaimed Danish designer.
»My latest collection for Weekday creates a contrasting mood that is soft and feminine with a con!dent and strong attitude. Added details as gold press buttons, zippers, soft shoulder pads and tiny pockets emphasize the playfulness of the collection,« says Stine Goya.
Following a diverse career in fashion, modelling for Chanel and styling for American Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, Stine Goya graduated from Central St. Martins, London in 2005, specialising in fashion with print. In 2006 she founded her own designer label in Copenhagen and has since then established herself as one of Scandinavia’s most interesting designers.
Vivid colours, sculptural forms and a playful attitude are all essential parts of the typical Stine Goya style. She creates her colourful universe using iconic prints and bright colours in combination with more structured pieces in black and white. Details on some garments, like zippers, buttons and bold prints adds a hint of rawness, but Goya’s exclusive second collaboration with Weekday is distinguished by an elegant and playful style that creates the base for this charming collection.
The new womenswear collection by Stine Goya will be in all Weekday stores from the mid of April.
