This was too good to pass up. I was recently contacted by the PR firm who represents Kentucky Fried Chicken. They have approached Sanjaya from American Idol to fashion a bowl hairdo for one of his next upcoming performances. In return, KFC is going to offer Sanjaya 1) a free lifetime supply of KFC Famous Bowls 2) $5,000 in cash and his own starring role in the next KFC Famous Bowls advertisement if he comes through 3) KFC will make a charitable contribution in his name.
They wonder if he'll be chicken (lol they have a good sense of humor).
Sanjaya's hair has wowed us more than his singing and I totally see him doing hair-related endorsements after American Idol. Will it only be 15 minutes of hairdo fame? Who knows, but American Idol has already landed him $$$ without even making it to the end (and I don't think he will unless Howard Stern has his way).
He would actually be pretty silly to pass up KFC's offer. It would give him $5K, a commercial and the potential for other commericals down the pike. Plus, I'm sure the bowl hairdo would have everyone talking.
I recently did a review of ISO's Tamerfoam complete with the Sanjaya "banana clip" looking hairdo pictures last week on Beauty Pro. I'm sure he could benefit from this product. ;)
I guess I'll be watching Idol this week to see if he takes KFC up on their offer. Kudos to KFC for thinking outside the bucket.
