Review: Oculatum Candles You On Here » Review: Oculatum Candles

Up until recently, I had never heard about Oculatum candles. I never really believed that there was such a thing as "luxury candles" up until the candles arrived at my door. In the package- Paten Susan from The Vessels Collection, Vespers Holland from The Hours Collection and Flowered Syllabub from The Vintages Collection.

Paten Susan--Tulip, Marjoram and Juniper

Vespers Holland--Frankincense, Myrrh and Cedar

Flowered Syllabub--Champagne, Dianthus and Hyssop (no longer available)

All of Oculatum's candle collections come as a trio, each with a different aromatic base-one fruited, one floral and one exotic. They are all made by hand and about half way into the candle is a saying on a small piece of paper that is revealed as the wax melts away. It is a random phrase from the book Oculatum.

Oculatum's Candles are very fragrant. I love a candle that not only smells good when you open the package, but continues with that same fragrance as it burns. All of the wax is pure and free of any chemical color enhancements and the wicking is cotton. Not only do these candles delight your senses with their rich indulgence of scent, but the packaging also makes you want to display it as an accessory to your decor, as well.

Each candle is $36 at www.oculatum.com
